Family Meeting – Programme for Friday
Arrival and, depending on participants’ interest, casual meeting at Hotel Fürstenberger Hof.
Saturday
Morning:
Trip to Goch, visit to the City Archives, introduction to weekend and places to be visited (Goch, Erprath Family Estate, Kalbeck Estate)
Lunch close to Kalbeck Estate, followed by archaeological tracking. Return to Hotel, Break. Possible walk through castle grounds at Fürstenberg Estate
Late afternoon:
Short driving tour of Xanten with emphasis on Erprath & cemetery
Evening:
Festive dinner at Hotel Fürstenberger Hof
Sunday
In the morning, we are offering two alternatives:
- For any interested participant: conference and workshop on family topics (genealogy, creation of family club, Internet presence, etc.)
- Another detailed visit of Xanten with its cathedral or the impressive excavations dating back to Roman times can be arranged parallel to the conference
Around noon, we will have a closing and farewell ceremony at Hotel Fürstenberger Hof.
Although German will be the main language of the event, some things will also be translated into English and can be adapted according to the number of non-German-speaking participants.
